The Ministry of Energy announced the convening of the Energy Command on Monday at 14:00, at the headquarters of the National Energy Dispatcher, following frost warnings issued by meteorologists. Between 10:00 and 20:00, a yellow warning for low temperatures will be in effect in Moldova, Transylvania, Dobrogea, Muntenia, and Oltenia, with values ranging between -8 and -4 degrees. Additionally, in northern Moldova and in the depressions of Transylvania, temperatures will be recorded as low as -10 degrees. From Monday evening until Tuesday morning, the entire country will be under a yellow warning, with minimum temperatures between -20 and -10 degrees. The meteorological information regarding extremely cold weather will be in effect until Thursday morning, with persistent frost in most areas. The wind will intensify the feeling of cold in southern Banat and the southeastern regions.
