A freight train carrying diesel was stopped near the Rădoiești-Deal halt, Teleorman County, due to a minor leak at the fuel valve of a wagon.

The train, consisting of 37 wagons, of which 36 are loaded with diesel, is halted until the malfunction is fixed.

The Teleorman Emergency Situations Inspectorate intervened, and the power supply in the area was interrupted as a safety measure.

The nearby population was evacuated within a radius of 300 meters.

Intervention teams, including the Roșiorii de Vede Fire Department, are equipped with two fire-fighting vehicles and an SMURD ambulance, ensuring fire prevention and extinguishing measures.

A technical team from the railway operator is on its way to the site to resolve the issue.
