Four Romanian citizens, aged between 27 and 44, were arrested in the Netherlands after stealing bicycles worth approximately 38,000 euros from the Bikeshop Rings store in Goirle. The theft occurred on the night of December 20 to 21, 2025, when the suspects broke the store's window using crowbars and a sledgehammer. Surveillance cameras captured their preparations, and the next day, seven bicycles were discovered by a man who alerted the police. The suspects were caught in the act that same evening, but one bicycle remains missing. During interrogations, they admitted to the theft, claiming they acted on the orders of a man named Alex, but the Rings brothers, the store's owners, denied the existence of such a plan. The prosecutor dismissed the explanation as unfounded, and the court is set to deliver a verdict on April 3.
