The High Court of Cassation and Justice has decided to indict the former first prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of the Targu Bujor District Court for the theft and destruction of evidence in a rape case. The prosecutor is accused of favoring a priest who had admitted sexual relations with a 15-year-old minor, altering statements and relevant documents to minimize the charges. He is remanded in custody, charged with serious offenses, including intellectual forgery.
