Dumitru Dumbravă, former SRI general, passed away at the age of 53, according to sources. He was involved in a criminal case alongside Florian Coldea, being accused by DNA prosecutors of forming an organized criminal group, influence peddling, and money laundering. The two former generals were perceived as having considerable influence over the justice system. The illegal activities included promises to resolve issues for various individuals in exchange for sums of money, including 600,000 euros from a businessman.
