Teodor Țigan, who was interim director general of Romsilva between 2020-2022, is contesting the decision not to extend his employment contract after his retirement, despite receiving a €100,000 bonus. After his retirement, he re-employed at Arad Forestry Directorate and received both pension and salary from Romsilva. Țigan is now seeking annulment of the decision to terminate his contract and damages calculated at the inflation rate. The trial has been postponed for new evidence.
