The Federation of Forestry Trade Unions SILVA has sent an open letter to the Minister of the Environment, requesting a detailed analysis of the impact of the reorganization of Romsilva. They stress the need for consultation with all stakeholders and call for the formation of a working group to ensure a transparent and well-informed reorganization. The trade unionists warn that the lack of dialogue could lead to imbalances in the system and affect the jobs of the 14,000 employees. They also announce their intention to protest legally if they do not receive an answer by July 18, 2025.
