In Giurgiu County, the floods caused by recent rains and snowmelt have affected several households in the localities of Copaciu and Ghimpați. The authorities issued an orange flood warning, alerting residents in 19 communes through RO-ALERT messages. Firefighters intervened overnight to remove water from yards, where significant areas were affected. In Ghimpați, water flooded four yards over an area of approximately 12,000 square meters, while in Copaciu, five yards were flooded over 1,000 square meters.
