Five suspects, individuals, involved in tax evasion between 2019-2021, escaped criminal prosecution after paying the damages caused to the state budget and the legal increases. The Prosecutor's Office next to the Brașov Tribunal closed the case based on the cause of non-punishment.

The suspects, operating in the industrial sector, created a fictitious circuit of commercial companies, recording fictitious purchases of hydraulic pumps, bitumen, and oil from a company in Hungary. The total damage was 241,636 lei, to which accessories and increases were added.

The investigation revealed that the goods were not paid for, and to create the appearance of settling the debt, complex legal-economic operations were simulated. The case was closed, and the seizure of the suspects' assets was lifted after the damage was paid.
