The National Agency for Employment (ANOFM) has authorized the first agencies recruiting foreign citizens online through the WorkinRomania.gov.ro digital platform.

The development marks the use of the platform to conduct the authorization procedure for agencies that broker the placement of foreign citizens on Romania’s labor market. In its notice, ANOFM did not specify how many agencies had been authorized or the exact date on which the authorizations were issued.

The WorkinRomania.gov.ro platform is the online tool used to manage procedures related to employment and foreign citizens’ access to Romania’s labor market. By digitizing the authorization process, agencies can submit and process documents online, without completing all stages in physical format.

ANOFM’s notice is the first announcement concerning the online authorization of such agencies through the platform. The institution may provide further details, if applicable, about the number of authorized agencies and the procedural steps followed.",
