The fire caused heavy smoke and firefighters intervened with 7 fire engines. This is not the first fire on Calea Victoriei, in the past there was another fire at the Nifon Palace, a historical monument under restoration. It belongs to the Archdiocese of Bucharest and is being reinforced by the Ministry of Development.
