Firefighters from Bacău intervened on Sunday to extinguish a fire at the Orthodox church in Luncani, where the flames affected the roof.

The Bacău Fire Department was requested on Sunday, November 30, to intervene to extinguish a fire that broke out in Luncani, Măgirești commune. The incident was reported around 1:47 PM, and upon the arrival of the crews, the flames had spread to the entire roof of the Orthodox church, affecting an area of approximately 300 square meters. Firefighters intervened with three fire engines, a ladder truck, a SMURD ambulance, and a first intervention and command vehicle. According to ISU Bacău, the fire has been contained and efforts are being made to extinguish it, and the operational group has been activated at the ISU Bacău level.
