Fire at the Catholic Church in Maramureș, firefighters are responding quickly

According to ISU Maramureș, a fire broke out at the Catholic Church in the locality of Șurdești, and firefighters were quickly mobilized to manage the situation. Initially, four fire trucks were sent to the scene, along with a rescue platform for high-altitude intervention.

As the intervention progressed, the response forces were supplemented with three additional fire trucks equipped with water and foam to tackle the fire. The intervention is ongoing, and firefighters are working to limit the damage and extinguish the fire. Additional details will be communicated during the operation.
