The firefighters from Tulcea intervened to extinguish a fire at a sunflower dryer.

On Wednesday morning, firefighters from Tulcea County intervened to extinguish a fire that broke out at a grain dryer in the locality of Enisala. Four firefighting crews were mobilized on site, using three fire engines, a ladder truck, and a SMURD crew to locate and extinguish the fire. Upon arrival, the flames were intensely manifesting at a sunflower seed drying machine, which contained approximately ten tons of grain.

The Volunteer Emergency Situations Service of Sarichioi supported the firefighters with a fire engine and a water tanker. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and the mission to extinguish the fire was ongoing.
