A diesel tank caught fire on the A1, blocking traffic towards Pitești. Firefighters are intervening.

A fuel tanker loaded with diesel caught fire on the A1 highway, at kilometer 43, near the locality of Vânători Mici, in the direction towards Pitești. The incident was reported by ISU Giurgiu, which sent two fire crews to intervene. Traffic was completely blocked on this section, and firefighters are ensuring fire prevention measures, considering that there is no danger of explosion and no casualties have been reported. The incident occurred after a wheel of the tanker caught fire, which stopped on the emergency lane. The tanker was transporting approximately 24 cubic meters of diesel.
