Between November 17-21, 2025, the Labor Inspection conducted 2,337 inspections at the national level, imposing total fines of 4.5 million lei and identifying 249 individuals engaged in activities without legal forms. Of the 1,366 contraventional sanctions, 455 were fines, and the most violations were found in the field of labor relations, where 637 sanctions were applied, including fines of 3.62 million lei.

A significant case occurred in Timiș County, where 95 individuals were working in the ride-sharing sector without employment contracts. Inspectors imposed 2,315 measures to remedy deficiencies and halted 16 dangerous work equipment. Authorities emphasized that the phenomenon of undeclared work remains a serious problem, and inspections will continue to protect workers' rights.
