An explosion followed by a fire in a house in Sector 6 led to the death of a person and their dog.

On Tuesday morning, around 03:30, an explosion occurred in a house on Pietrele Doamnei Street, Sector 6, Bucharest, causing a violent fire over an area of approximately 100 square meters. Following the explosion, the ceiling and walls of the house collapsed. From initial information, at the time of the incident, there was one person in the house, who was found dead under the rubble, along with their dog. To manage the emergency situation, 8 fire-fighting vehicles, 1 intervention and rescue vehicle from height, 1 rescue vehicle, the Special Rescue Detachment, and 5 SMURD ambulances intervened. ISU Bucharest - Ilfov coordinated the rescue teams' intervention.
