The Buzău firefighters intervened at an accident on DN2–E85, where a car caught fire, and a person was found carbonized. The driver of the van died after being extricated.

On Monday afternoon, firefighters from Buzău intervened to manage a road accident on DN2–E85, near the locality of Mihăilești. The Buzău Inspectorate for Emergency Situations reported that a car and a van were involved in the accident. The impact led to the car catching fire, inside which a person was found trapped and charred.

The van suffered significant damage, and its driver was found unconscious. Firefighters managed to extricate him and handed him over to the crew of the County Ambulance Service, which performed resuscitation maneuvers, but later confirmed the victim's death.
