Fatal accident on DN2: a man died as a result of the head-on collision

A tragic accident occurred on Saturday evening in the area of the locality of Pătrăuți, on DN2, involving two cars. According to ISU Suceava, military firefighters from the Suceava Detachment intervened with a rescue vehicle, a fire truck, and a SMURD B2 ambulance, supported by two SAJ teams, one of which had a doctor.

The accident was caused by a head-on collision between the two vehicles, involving three people. A man was found trapped and unconscious in one of the cars, and the doctor from the SAJ ambulance declared his death, having injuries incompatible with life. In the second car, there was a man and a woman, both conscious, but the man was also trapped. After his extraction, he was handed over to the medical teams for care.
