On Monday morning, a serious road accident took place on the Olt Valley, DN 7, in the Milcoiu area, involving a truck and a car. Following the violent impact, the driver of the car died and the passenger was injured and taken to hospital. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident and traffic is blocked in both directions and has been diverted to DN 73C for the necessary interventions. This is not the only recent tragic incident in the county, with another accident in Râmnicu Vâlcea resulting in two victims.
