Hunedoara: A serious accident on DN 66 led to the death of a man and the serious injury of another.

A tragic accident occurred on DN 66, between the localities of Strei and Ruși in Hunedoara, where two cars collided head-on. The impact was extremely violent, resulting in the death of a man at the scene, while the second driver suffered serious injuries. The latter was taken by a crew from the County Ambulance Service and transported to the hospital in Hunedoara for medical care. The firefighters from the Hunedoara Detachment intervened urgently, noting the severity of the accident. Traffic was halted in both directions during the intervention of the rescue teams and the investigations conducted by the police, who will determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
