An explosion occurred in an apartment in Titu, Dâmbovița, without causing a fire.

On Friday, an explosion occurred in an apartment located on the ground floor of a building in Titu, Dâmbovița County, without being followed by a fire. The Dâmbovița Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) was called to intervene around 12:27 PM. Up to this moment, no victims have been identified, and 17 people have been evacuated from the building. Of these, 10 evacuated themselves, while 7 were assisted by the intervention teams. At the scene, 3 fire trucks with water and foam, one intervention and rescue vehicle from heights, as well as a SMURD ambulance intervened. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the explosion.
