On Monday afternoon, rescuers from the Teleorman Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) intervened in the locality of Frăsinet, where an explosion occurred in a household. Initial information indicates that two people were injured as a result of the deflagration, which took place at a gas pipeline connected to a liquefied petroleum gas cylinder. The cylinder was in the yard at the time of the incident, but fortunately, the explosion was not followed by a fire.

Two fire-fighting vehicles, one CBRN vehicle for measurements in case of chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear incidents, as well as two medical teams from the Teleorman County Ambulance Service were sent to the scene to provide care for the injured.
