In the morning of the day, around 4:00 AM, an explosion occurred in a studio apartment located on the 3rd floor of a four-story building on Intrarea Banatului, in the locality of Chitila, Ilfov County. The ISU Bucharest-Ilfov firefighters intervened quickly, mobilizing five fire engines, one rescue vehicle, the Special Rescue Detachment, as well as SMURD ambulances.
