With 63 votes in favor, 12 against and 6 abstentions, the specialized committees of the European Parliament have approved the report on the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, which includes Romania's NRRP. PNL and PSD MEPs Siegfried Mureșan and Victor Negrescu coordinated the report, which calls for extending the plan by 18 months and prioritizing mature projects. This measure is considered essential for completing investments and attracting EU funds. Negrescu stressed that the vote is a major success for Romania.
