The company accused by the Minister of the Environment of causing the water crisis in Prahova rejects the allegations: "The real cause of the water crisis: the erroneous decisions of ANAR and the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests regarding the Paltinu Dam"

The Prahova Regional Exploitation Company S.A. was accused by the Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, of contributing to the water crisis in Prahova, but it rejected these accusations, stating that the responsibility lies with the National Administration "Apele Române" (ANAR) and the Ministry of Environment.

Furthermore, ESZ Prahova mentioned that attempts to hold it responsible for the water crisis are a manipulation and a distraction from the mistakes of the competent institutions. The company has implemented measures to reduce the impact on consumers, but emphasized that it cannot be held accountable for administrative and hydrological issues that are beyond its control.
