The flooding was caused by heavy rains, and images captured by witnesses show water flowing from the ceiling onto the platform. Metrorex has requested an increased mobilization to prevent further incidents, considering that Bucharest is under a red code for rain. The company acted quickly to clean the station, and train traffic remained normal, without disruptions.
