The reform of the National Forest Regie - Romsilva - is a priority for Minister Diana Buzoianu, which aims to make the institution more efficient and accountable in the management of forests in Romania. This will include reducing the number of directors, cutting performance-related bonuses and evaluating Romsilva's activities. A public consultation will be held on July 4, 2025, to involve citizens in the reform process, with the aim of protecting the environment and sustainable management of forest resources.
