The Environmental Guard carried out a control in Picior de Munte, Dâmbovița county, where it discovered an illegal zoo, operating under the name of a menagerie center. The owner charged entrance fees and fees for photography, but did not have an environmental permit and did not respect the animals' living conditions. Fines of 120,000 lei were imposed and remedial measures were ordered. The animals remain in the custody of the owner until their provenance is clarified.
