Energy Minister Sebastian Burduja has assured that there is no risk of a blackout in Romania, stressing however the need to remain vigilant against possible threats to the energy system. Romania benefits from a diversified energy mix, with well-filled reservoirs and contributions from nuclear, gas-fired, solar and wind. Mr Burduja denounced the misinformation that has caused panic among the population, reaffirming that, based on the available data, there is no cause for concern.
