Bogdan Ivan, the Minister of Energy, about electricity prices: "How on earth did we get here and what can we do to lower these prices?"

The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, stated that Romanians pay "one of the highest prices in Europe and perhaps even in the world" for electricity.

"I have been at the Ministry of Energy for three months and something and I have started this analysis related to the question that is on the lips of all people who pay these luxury bills. How on earth did we get here and what can we do to lower these prices?" Bogdan Ivan rhetorically asked.
