Employees of the Cugir Arms Factory stopped working on Wednesday, for the second consecutive day, in protest against the delay in salary payments. Union leader Ioan Neagu stated that workers were supposed to receive their salaries on Monday, but this did not happen, which is why they resorted to a spontaneous protest. Neagu emphasized that this action is not coordinated by the union, but is a direct reaction from the employees to the financial situation. Additionally, at the beginning of the month, employees protested due to the lack of a salary increase following negotiations with the factory management. These actions reflect the employees' dissatisfaction with working conditions and remuneration.
