In S1 2025, the Electrica Group reported a net profit of 421.4 million lei, a significant increase of 312.9% compared to the previous year. EBITDA rose by 63.1%, reaching 1,002.7 million lei, due to improved performance in the supply and distribution segments. Operating revenues increased by 23.8%, and the company plans investments in renewable energy and modernization of networks. CEO Alexandru Chiriță emphasized the importance of adapting to market changes and the responsibility to maintain performance standards.
