The Ministry of Education is analyzing the purchases of electric minibuses in Iasi and Prahova counties and will take action if irregularities are identified.

The Ministry of Education and Research has announced that it will check the purchases of electric school minibuses in Iasi and Prahova counties, within the framework of the PNRR project. Although the purchases are managed by the county councils, the ministry will analyze the documentation and will refer any irregularities to the competent authorities. A firm from Prahova won the majority of the contracts, and the prices charged for the minibuses were reported to be excessive. The Minister of Investment has announced that the Control Body will be sent for a detailed check.
