The Minister of Economy, Radu Miruță, said that the members of the Salrom Board of Directors should be dismissed because of negligence in managing the risks related to the Praid Saltworks disaster, about which information has been available since 2006. Miruță stressed that the institutions involved had passed the responsibility, which led to a serious situation. Although he acknowledges the involvement of other institutions, such as Apele Române, he cannot call for their dismissal.
