The National Institute for Earth Physics reported a weak earthquake in the seismic area of Vrancea, Buzău, on October 12, 2025, at 20:48. The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.7 and occurred at a depth of 121.6 km, being located 50 km NW of Buzău and 71 km NE of Ploiești, with no damages or casualties reported.
