Today, the search for the wreckage of the downed drone resumes in Tulcea County. The incident occurred in the context of the Russian Federation's attacks on Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday the resumption of the search for the wreckage of the drone shot down on Saturday morning in the area of Sfântu Gheorghe, Tulcea County. The drone was intercepted by an F-16 aircraft of the Romanian Air Forces, about 10 kilometers west-northwest of the locality, in a hard-to-access area.

The search was interrupted on Saturday evening and is now coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office next to the Constanța Court of Appeal.
