A drone was discovered in Tulcea County on August 14, after another drone crashed on the same day. The Ministry of National Defense intervened to secure the area.

The Ministry of National Defense of Romania (MApN) announced today the discovery of a drone in Tulcea County, in the area of the locality Plauru.

A team of specialists was sent to the scene to identify the object and secure the area. On the morning of the same day, another drone crashed in the Luncavița area, causing an explosion and a fire, according to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Tulcea. A day earlier, the Army's radars had detected aerial objects near Romania, and two F-16 aircraft were scrambled to respond to the situation. Additionally, a RO-Alert message was issued in the northern area of Tulcea County, where five drones were tracked, and one temporarily entered national territory.
