A police emergency intervention took place after a woman called 112, reporting that her friend was being held hostage by her ex-boyfriend, who was threatening her with a knife. Upon the arrival of the law enforcement forces, the victim communicated that she was safe and did not want help, even though she was under threat. Checks showed that the man had a protection order issued against him, but without electronic monitoring. Negotiators from the Special Actions Service (SAS) tried to establish a dialogue, but the woman threatened to jump from the balcony. After several negotiation attempts, the police forcefully entered the building, immobilizing the man. The woman and her one-year-old child were rescued and are out of any danger.
