A bill proposing the prohibition of the use of electronic cigarettes in closed public spaces has been submitted to the Senate, to protect non-smokers.

Ten years after the ban on smoking in enclosed spaces, a new bill has been submitted to the Senate, regarding electronic cigarettes and tobacco heating devices.

The legislative initiative proposes to ban the use of these products in enclosed public spaces, in public transport, and in children's play areas. The main goal of the measure is to discourage smoking, especially among young people, and to protect non-smokers from the effects of passive smoking. An exception to the ban will be made for individuals in penitentiaries.
