In a Facebook post, he expressed solidarity with the people of Galați and criticized attempts to downplay the security danger, mentioning that Romania is facing hybrid attacks from Russia. Fritz made three political conclusions, stating that those who do not recognize Russia as an aggressor are complicit, that the SAFE program, which includes anti-drone capabilities, is essential for the protection of Romania, and that defending Ukraine is equivalent to national defense. This reaction comes in the context of escalating security tensions in the region.
