Following allegations of sexual harassment against sociologist Marius Pieleanu, USR president Dominic Fritz has called for his suspension from teaching and a serious investigation at SNSPA. Fritz stresses that Pieleanu cannot continue to teach and appear in the public space, given the testimonies of victims. The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, supported the need for a thorough investigation, respecting the accused's right to defense. The Minister of Education has announced that SNSPA will analyze the situation in accordance with the new regulations on harassment in the academic environment.
