The DNSC warns that cybercriminals are becoming increasingly convincing in vishing attempts by pretending to be representatives of banks or other institutions. They manipulate victims by creating a sense of urgency. The DNSC recommends not giving out confidential data over the phone and always checking the authenticity of calls. In case of suspicion, it is advisable to hang up the call and contact the institution through an official number.
