DNSC informs citizens about a telephone scam campaign in which people are being contacted from unknown numbers pretending to be involved in a Border Police case. The calls include a pre-recorded message asking for personal data. Experts advise not to give out personal or banking information and to report fraud attempts to the authorities. Border Police do not contact citizens to request personal data over the phone.
