DN Agrar, a leader in cow's milk production in Europe, has announced financing plans for a new skim milk and cream processing plant, with an investment of 3.5 million euros, funded through a credit facility from Exim Bank Romania. The project approval will be discussed at the General Meeting of Shareholders on January 16, 2026, and the factory, located at the Straja farm, will have a processing capacity of 150,000 liters of milk per day, with operations planned for September/October 2026.

The products manufactured will primarily target B2B markets and exports, including kosher certified products. CEO Peter de Boer emphasized the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability, with an annual production goal of 150 million liters of milk by 2030, with potential for expansion. DN Agrar has already started exporting raw milk to Greece and northern Italy, and the new factory will facilitate the production of dairy ingredients with lower transportation costs. The company, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since 2022, aims to double EBITDA and achieve net zero emissions in production by 2030.
