Distrigaz Sud Rețele has announced the gradual resumption of natural gas supply in the area affected by the explosion on Calea Rahovei, Bucharest, starting from November 4. This measure targets 1,086 household customers who were affected by the interruption of supply. The works are part of the 3rd phase of the technical plan approved by the Bucharest Municipality Committee for Emergency Situations and focus on the reinstatement of the distribution pipeline for building no. 33. After the intervention is completed, the installations in the apartments will be checked by authorized A.N.R.E. operators, and supply will be resumed only for customers who meet the technical safety conditions. Distrigaz will ensure the safety of consumers during the works, but supply will remain suspended for customers in buildings no. 32, 30A, and 30 on Calea Rahovei. The explosion on October 17 resulted in the death of three people and injured another 15.
