The company Distrigaz Rețele Sud has been charged with qualified destruction following the explosion in the Rahova neighborhood, which occurred on October 17. It stated that there is still no definitive technical conclusion regarding the causes of the incident and that experts are analyzing various possible reasons. Distrigaz expresses its solidarity with the victims and their families, emphasizing its commitment to safety and transparency.

Additionally, the company stated that it will cooperate with the authorities and will present all necessary evidence to demonstrate the compliance of its actions. In the course of the investigation, three people have been detained, including an employee of Distrigaz and two employees of the company Amproperty Construct SRL, who conducted checks on the gas network. Prosecutors have carried out searches at the offices of Distrigaz and the verification company, seeking documents relevant to the case.
