Over 5 million smuggled cigarettes, worth 7.5 million lei, were found by police officers in a container in the Port of Constanta.

The Constanta County Police Inspectorate announced that 5,360,400 undeclared cigarettes of various brands were discovered in a container and were seized by representatives of the Constanța South Agigea Customs Border Office. Officers have opened a criminal case for the offenses of smuggling and submitting false documents to the customs authority.
