The police and DIICOT conducted searches in Uivar, Timiș, targeting drug suppliers for the teenagers involved in the murder of a 15-year-old boy.

Five suspects were taken for questioning on Thursday after police and DIICOT prosecutors conducted searches in the locality of Uivar, Timiș County, aimed at identifying individuals suspected of supplying drugs to the dealers who provided the teenagers involved in the murder of Mario Berinde, a 15-year-old boy.

As a result of the action, authorities confiscated nearly one kilogram of crystal, one kilogram of marijuana, and a pistol. Five suspects were taken for questioning.

Previously, on January 24, DIICOT conducted searches in Cenei, where the two boys involved in the crime lived, who admitted to drug use. The investigations target a 17-year-old and a 24-year-old, suspected of supplying cannabis to other minors. Following the searches in Cenei, 110 grams of cannabis and other evidence were found. The two young men were detained by DIICOT prosecutors.
