On Wednesday, the police and DIICOT prosecutors conducted searches at 15 addresses in the counties of Caraș-Severin and Timiș, targeting a drug trafficking group made up of 17 suspects.

Some of them, already under judicial control, have resumed criminal activities, recruiting new members to continue selling drugs to old clients. The group has adopted strategies to mask illegal activities, selling banned substances only to trusted individuals and identifying new supply sources, especially in Timiș County. The operation, named 'Vice City', is supported by several institutions, and within it, 25 warrants for bringing in individuals for hearings at DIICOT are being executed.
